Answers
Questions people ask first
- What counts as processing?
- The video you submit for capture. Editing a take you already captured does not reprocess it.
- Do I keep my motion if I stop paying?
- Exports you have already downloaded are yours. Access to takes stored in Mocap+ follows your plan.
- Can I try it before paying?
- Yes — the Free plan exists for exactly that, with shorter clips and limited exports.
- Is there an API on every plan?
- Programmatic access is the API plan. Keys, batch jobs and webhooks belong to it.
- Is there a free plan?
- Yes. The Free plan exists to test the pipeline on your own footage: process a clip, open it in Motion Studio and see the quality before paying anything.
- How is usage measured?
- By processing time and storage. A capture is charged when it completes — a job that fails costs nothing — and exports of an already-solved take do not consume processing time again.
- Can I use Mocap+ commercially?
- Yes. Motion you capture from footage you have the rights to is yours to use in commercial work. The acceptable use policy covers what cannot be processed, chiefly footage of people who have not consented.
- Do you offer an API?
- Yes. The same endpoints the application uses are available with a scoped API key: submit a video, poll the job, fetch the motion or an export. Keys are issued, scoped and revoked from the application.
